Buying textbooks costs too much money. Publishing companies come out with new editions each year and don't even add any relevant or new material. To put it simply, it is a racketeering business. I got tired of buying books so now I just rent them from Chegg for less than half the price. Also, there's a lot of sites that have links to free books. Check 'em out.
World Library
Bibliomania
Books Should Be Free
Chest of Books
Get Free Books
Google Books
Project Gutenberg
The Assayer
Motion Mountain
Gigapedia
